Measuring systems
Alongside the mast design there is another important part with a high influence on the accuracy of wind data: the measuring system. The higher the accuracy of the data captured by the measuring system the lower the uncertainties and the lower the risk in financing your project.
To keep the uncertainties low Ge:Net only uses high quality equipment and sensors according to the relevant norm IEC 61-400. We can offer the highest flexibility in customizing your measurement system according to your specific needs. We can provide a vast range of different sensors and brands to adapt the measuring system to site specific conditions and special needs – a custom-made measuring system tailored to your needs.

Sensors
Ge:Net offers all sensors needed for ambitious high quality measurements: first class anemometers with MEASNET-Calibration, wind vanes, sensors for temperature, humidity and pressure. [ more ]
Data logger
To record the signals provided by the sensors Ge:Net offers a variety of different data loggers of well-known manufacturers, which are programmed and configured by Ge:Net according to the specific demands of each project. [ more ]
Communication via GPRS or satellite
Ge:Net offers different solutions to communicate with the meteo masts and to transfer the wind data to the customers servers. If available GPRS will be used, but for remote sites without network connection Ge:Net developed a communication solution via satellite connection. [ more ]
Power supply
For autonomous operation even at very remote sites Ge:Net provides solutions for independent power supply based on solar power. [ more ]
Aviation lights & obstacle marking
Each Ge:Net-mast can be equipped with aviation lights according to the FAA and ICAO guidelines, a single small light on top of the mast as well as complex lighting on different levels with lights of different intensity. [ more ]
